Artist Statement
Crystal Jowperson is an experiential media artist, creative technologist, and educator. Her work explores the relationship between time, nature, and the human experience through immersive installations that combine tactile materials with technology. She has exhibited internationally and participated in artist residencies across Europe, Asia, and North America.
Crystal is co-founder and leads commercial projects at SIXA Live while supporting new media education with The Interactive & Immersive HQ. She is currently an adjunct professor at The New School and the New York Institute of Technology.
Her practice is rooted in movement, sensory experience, and interactivity, often incorporating wellness data and meditative frameworks. Crystal holds a BFA in Experimental Animation from CalArts and an MFA in Animation and Digital Arts from the University of Southern California.

Audiences remember experiences they can connect with. Crystal works with interactive technologies in her installations that react and respond to users and create unique experiences that audiences resenate with.
Teaching
Education is the cornerstone of a strong foundation. Crystal is actively teaching workshops and training sessions to educational institutions internationally.
